A new project of the Naberezhnye Chelny local branch of the "United Russia" party was presented at the republican seminar "Developing the educational potential of schools for students with disabilities through the organization of project activities." Its main goal is to introduce students of correctional schools to in-demand professions.
Work on the project began in the summer at Naberezhnye Chelny School No. 68 for children with disabilities. A landscape design classroom was equipped there. Four times a week, during extracurricular activities, students study options for growing microgreens. The children have already harvested their third crop. This modern eco-product for healthy eating, produced by the students themselves, can be consumed during school lunch. Thus, conditions have been created for introducing students to and teaching them the basics of the landscaper profession. In the future, the possibility of employing these students at "Gorzelenkhoz" is being considered.
Due to personal characteristics, it is very difficult for graduates of correctional schools to navigate the conditions of the modern labor market. Educators are confident: thanks to the "Navigator" project, they will be able to guide their students in advance toward a profession through which they can realize their abilities.
