Today, a passport presentation ceremony was held at the Palace of Celebrations for citizens who have reached the age of 14. 26 young residents of Naberezhnye Chelny received their first main document. The Mayor of the city, Nail Magdeev, addressed them with parting words: «Each of you will choose your own life path. May the support of your parents, relatives, and loved ones be a guiding star in this complex but very interesting life. We hope that you will wear the surname of your parents and the patronymic of your fathers with pride. Do everything to be in-demand in this life, to be kind, and to be people with a capital letter. We, dear children, hope for you, believe in you, and love you».
Each teenager also received the main law of the country – the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which every citizen must observe, and a flag with the coat of arms of Naberezhnye Chelny.
The event aligns with the goals of the national project «Youth and Children», aimed at the formation and development of a generation of patriotically minded, highly moral, and responsible Russian citizens.
