Dear Tatarstan residents!

Dear fellow countrymen!

I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of the Native Language and a momentous event – the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great son of the Tatar people, the brilliant poet Gabdulla Tukay!

The native language is the living breath of a nation, a treasury of its spirit and historical memory. It is precisely within it that moral guidelines are embedded for preserving the identity of the people in a rapidly changing world.

Tukay has become a symbol of Tatar poetry. Entire generations have grown up on his immortal lines – with the melodic "Native Language" we take our first steps in understanding the world, and in his profound philosophical lyrics, we find answers to the questions of existence. Tukay's word is relevant at all times – it heals the soul, awakens the conscience, and inspires creation. It was he who made a significant contribution to the formation of the modern Tatar literary language, a true treasure for each of us.

Today, the work of another great master of words has gained special relevance – the poet-hero Musa Jalil, whose 120th anniversary we are also celebrating this year. His courage has become a benchmark for all of humanity and serves as an example for our multinational youth, who are defending their Motherland, their languages, culture, and traditions with arms in their hands.

May the great cultural heritage of our famous predecessors serve as a reliable foundation in the careful preservation of the native language, passing on its beauty and richness to descendants as a unique value.

I wish you peace, prosperity, inexhaustible inspiration, and pride in your native language and culture!
