Almost the entire group of the "Walk with a Doctor" program participants – nearly 100 people – took to the streets with buckets, rakes, brushes, and paint, not forgetting their signature neckties.
The weather was favorable for the event: it was warm and dry. A ceremonial lineup with equipment, a group photo for memory, and warm words of congratulations created a festive atmosphere. The participants noted that spending the whole day in the fresh air doing something useful is a special joy.
The main focus of their efforts was the "Kyzyl Tau" area – a place where project participants often gather themselves and where many city guests visit.
During the cleanup, lawns were tidied up, apple trees planted for the 75th anniversary of Victory were pruned and whitewashed, and nameplates with the variety name "Memory of the Warrior" and the "Walk with a Doctor" logo were installed.
The finale of the event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. There was a group photo with the staff of the "Kyzyl Tau" cultural center, a flash mob with music and songs, as well as Nordic walking in nature and around the forest lake.
