On the main stage of the city's Maidan, Mayor Nail Magdeev addressed the young people of Chelny with a congratulatory speech: «Naberezhnye Chelny is a unique example of how the creative power of young people can make history. Our city, the home of the legendary «КАМАЗ» trucks, was built by the youth. Back in the 70s of the last century, young men and women of different nationalities came to the banks of the Kama from all corners of the vast country.
In an open field, thanks to incredible enthusiasm, friendship of peoples, striving for a goal, and inexhaustible energy, they performed a labor feat – they built the largest automotive giant and gave life to a beautiful multinational city.
The young men and women of the autograd grew up following the example of the older generation, the generation of the first builders, and absorbed their diligence, restless energy, and patriotism.
It is important to remember these achievements right now, because this year is historic for us. Naberezhnye Chelny is celebrating two grand anniversaries at once: the 400th anniversary of the city's founding and the 50th anniversary of the production of the first «КАМАЗ» truck.
I can proudly say: our youth is wonderful! Today, our schoolchildren, students, and young professionals are demonstrating brilliant results in all spheres: production and education, science and sports, culture and art. You are our pride!

Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Denis Ashirov presented letters of gratitude for active civic stance and assistance in the implementation of youth policy. The awards were received by: 3rd category specialist of the personnel assessment and reserve work department of the Personnel Development Department of PJSC «КАМАЗ» Valeriya Besedina, Director of the Naberezhnye Chelny Center for Student Labor Detachments Rafael Valiev, youth work specialist of the Republican Center for Student Labor Detachments Polina Kozeruk, 2nd category specialist of the interaction group with educational organizations of the Corporate University of «КАМАЗ», Personnel Development Department of Public Joint Stock Company «КАМАЗ» Sofya Morozova, Director of the Youth Center «Shatlyk» Gulnur Nabieva, Chairman of the Youth Council of PJSC «КАМАЗ» Alexey Tarabukin, as well as the Artistic Director of the Tatarstan Regional Branch of the All-Russian Youth Public Organization «Russian Student Detachments» Sofia Tronina. In addition, federal letters were awarded to the following teams: the Youth Affairs Department of the Executive Committee led by Leysan Vidineeva, the Zonal Headquarters of Student Detachments of PJSC «КАМАЗ» led by Alexey Tarabukin, the Naberezhnye Chelny Center for Student Labor Detachments (Deputy Director Egor Shuganov), the Naberezhnye Chelny Polytechnic College led by Ildar Ganiev, and the Tatarstan Regional Branch of «Russian Student Detachments» led by Syumbel Latipova.
Following this, Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Alfiya Kogogina presented three personal scholarships. The recipients were: legal counsel of the branch of JSC «Татэнерго» – «Naberezhnye Chelny Heating Networks» Daniil Romanchenko, metrology engineer of the branch of JSC «Сетевая компания» Marina Salakhova, and chief specialist of the internal and external relations bureau of JSC «Ремдизель» Diana Yadykova.
Awards from the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan were presented by the Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Kadyrov. The Ministry's Gold Badge «For Merit in the Implementation of Youth Policy of the Republic of Tatarstan» was awarded to the Director of the Center for Youth Formations for Public Order Protection «Forpost» Ilnur Mindubaev and youth work specialist of the Youth Center «Orion» Olga Sochneva. The Ministry's Certificate of Honor was awarded to the administrator of the Youth Center «Nur» Fanusa Akhmadullina and Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Center for Youth Clubs «Podrostok» Albert Gilmanov. The Minister's gratitude was awarded to the chief accountant of the Youth Center «Nur» Gulshat Akhmadullina, chief specialist of the Youth Affairs Department Elza Badertdinova, youth work specialist of the Youth Center «Nur» Elvira Gatina, and sound engineer of the same center Vasily Ivanov.
The award ceremony was concluded by the Mayor of the city Nail Magdeev. In a solemn atmosphere, he presented passports of citizens of the Russian Federation to eight young residents of Chelny who have reached the age of 14. The first main documents of the country were received by Artyom Stepanov, Timur Shevelev, Yasmina Gabrakhimova, Sofya Mazur, Rodion Kuzmin, Yaroslav Fedotov, Darya Kalinina, and Grigory Rakintsev.
In addition, the Mayor announced and awarded the winners of the 2026 «Initiative of the First» competition for socially significant projects – 21 authors received grants for the implementation of their ideas.
