The decision was made in pursuance of the resolution of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan, which announced the collection of relevant proposals on the territory of the region from July 11 to July 31, 2026, explained the head of the Executive Committee staff Gulnar Akhmetova.
Mayor Nail Magdeev reminded that the procedure for forming precinct election commissions is strictly established by legislation, and the municipality, within its powers, forms a reserve of their composition for submission to the session of the City Council: “These are our powers. On the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, we provide assistance in conducting elections. The elections themselves are conducted by precinct election commissions, which are formed in the manner established by legislation. In this case, as a municipality, we are obliged to form a reserve of the composition of precinct commissions – this is the issue we are considering”.
By the approved decision of the City Council, the formed lists of candidates have been officially submitted to the territorial election commissions of the Komsomolsky, Tsentralny and Avtozavodsky districts of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. This measure is aimed at the timely renewal and effective staffing reserve of the precinct election commissions of the municipality.
