On the eve of Victory Day, Mayor Nail Magdeev, together with colleagues and servicemen of the Moscow garrison, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Alexander Garden.
"Standing at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier by the Kremlin Wall, one feels the greatness of the feat of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers particularly acutely. Among the millions of defenders of our Motherland were thousands of Chelny residents. A low bow to the veterans. Eternal memory to the fallen heroes. We remember. We are proud," wrote Nail Magdeev on his "VKontakte" page.
Recall that earlier, Mayor Nail Magdeev, together with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin and Head of the Tetyushsky District Ramis Safiullov, met with servicemen in the special military operation zone. Patronage aid was delivered to the soldiers, and awards were presented.
