Today, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate were honored in the assembly hall of the Internal Affairs Directorate. “The Naberezhnye Chelny State Traffic Inspectorate holds leading positions in the Republic of Tatarstan, and we are proud of these results. This is the work of our veterans who laid the foundation and did everything to create this team. People came from all over the Soviet Union – with their own language, habits, culture, and customs. It was necessary to ensure that in the city, in the sphere of automobile traffic and transportation, there was ideal, exemplary order. The veterans did it.
I thank the current employees of the city State Traffic Inspectorate and its head, Radiy Zakievich Kadikov, for their work. Despite all the difficulties, his team works, labors, strives, and demonstrates good results. In any weather, you serve the Fatherland, you serve the city!”
Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate Ayrat Khanbikov thanked the mayor and city authorities for their concern and close attention to road safety issues. He noted the comprehensive support from the city administration and thanked them for their care for the personnel and assistance in the department's work.

Nail Magdeev expressed special gratitude to Senior Road Patrol Service Inspector, Senior Police Lieutenant Alexey Sabirov for saving a person's life. The incident occurred during a shift change near the Internal Affairs Directorate building. The road patrol crew heard a loud bang from a residential building and noticed smoke. Turning on special signals, the police officers immediately proceeded to the scene.
Upon arriving at the address, Alexey Sabirov instructed his partners to organize a call for rescuers and an ambulance team, and he himself went up to the apartment where the explosion occurred. Showing courage and determination, the senior lieutenant cleared the rubble on his own, carried the owner of the apartment out in his arms, and ensured the safe evacuation of other residents from the floor. The mayor highly appreciated the professionalism, courage, and prompt actions of the police officer. Nail Magdeev announced that he would send a petition to nominate Alexey Sabirov for an award.
The State Automobile Inspectorate was formed on July 3, 1936. The first department of the State Traffic Inspectorate in Naberezhnye Chelny appeared in 1976 upon the creation of the Internal Affairs Directorate. Today, the local GIBDD includes a separate road patrol service company, a registration and examination department, and other units. Employees ensure road safety, monitor roads and traffic light facilities, search for stolen vehicles, and actively help citizens.
