The Mayor instructed law enforcement and supervisory authorities to strengthen control over compliance with safety rules at the city's water bodies due to the warm weather that has set in and the growing number of holidaymakers. Nail Magdeev noted that emergency services must operate in an enhanced mode to prevent tragedies and respond promptly to any incidents.
«Special attention must be paid to our water bodies. Because of the warm weather, people will objectively be drawn to the water. The main water artery of our republic and city attracts many holidaymakers. I ask law enforcement and supervisory authorities to strengthen control, especially in the evening and on weekends», the Mayor emphasized.
In addition, Nail Magdeev drew attention to the need to intensify work on the reconstruction of housing and communal services facilities and the road and street network: the favorable weather forecast for the current week makes it possible to eliminate the backlog caused by rains and to prepare properly for the cold weather.
«Good weather allows us to speed up road and street network repair work. I would ask everyone involved in this important matter to organize the work accordingly. There are issues related to the implementation of the heat and water supply network repair program. This is an investment program related to the repair of water supply and sewerage networks, quite large and financially substantial. Last week this work slowed down due to weather conditions; I ask you to pay attention to this. July will be followed by August, August by September, and the issues of preparing for the autumn-winter season are especially important, especially given the favorable conditions», the Mayor added.
