The youth center «Idel», together with the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars and the Union of Writers of Tatarstan, invites authors aged 14 to 35 to take part in the XXVI competition of young Tatar writers, poets and playwrights. Submissions in the categories «poetry», «prose» and «dramaturgy» will be accepted until September 30, 2026.
The event is implemented in line with the goals and objectives of the national project «Youth and Children», which aims to create conditions for the development of talents and self-realization of young people across the country. The main goal of the competition is to identify and support talented authors, as well as to provide them with opportunities for creative growth and self-expression.
The competition is held in three stages: the first stage – collection of works (until September 30, 2026); the second stage – qualifying round and expert evaluation by the jury (until October 31, 2026); the third – work of the creative school for selected contestants (November 2026).
Young writers from Tatarstan, other regions of Russia and abroad are invited to participate in two age categories – authors aged 14 to 18 and from 19 to 35.
