Applications are being accepted until July 15 for the Organizing Committee of the XIV All-Russian Festival of Young Talents "Magic Power of the Blue Stream – MOSGAZ lights the stars". Traditionally, the festival is held in two directions: the vocal contest "MOSGAZ lights the stars" and the young artists contest "Magic Power of the Blue Stream". The first stage is in a correspondence format; applications are submitted electronically on the official website of the festival.
The charity festival, organized by JSC "MOSGAZ" with the support of the Moscow Government and the Capital's Urban Economy Complex, has turned into a unique phenomenon of Russia's cultural life over its 14 years of existence.
The year 2026 has been declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The theme of the festival's vocal contest is dedicated to this event – "The strength of the country is in the unity of peoples and their culture", which will serve as a creative guideline for all participants.
The contest is held in three categories: "Academic Vocals", "Pop Vocals", and "Folk Vocals". Participants are divided into three age groups: from eight to 11 years old, from 12 to 14 years old, and from 15 to 18 years old.
Applications for the vocal contest are accepted until July 15. Based on the video performances of the artists, the jury of the correspondence stage will select the best and invite them to the in-person round of the contest, which will be held in Moscow in October – November 2026. The results of the correspondence voting will be published no later than September 10.The festival "Magic Power of the Blue Stream – MOSGAZ lights the stars" is a space where songs, traditions, and colors of all nationalities living in Russia are intertwined. Every year it lights up new stars to remind us: the true strength of our country is in the radiance of this great constellation of cultures, whose name is Russia.
