Addressing the audience, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the significance of the poet's legacy and outlined strategic cultural objectives: "Gabdulla Tukay is a landmark figure for the entire Turkic world. We face a major task – preparing for the poet's 150th anniversary. Work in this direction is already underway. We plan for the celebration to take place at the all-Russian level. A corresponding decree from the President of Russia is expected. We are also considering the possibility of granting international status to the Gabdulla Tukay Prize."
