In the Republic of Tatarstan, over 13 thousand self-employed individuals already participate in voluntary pension insurance. Within the framework of the national project «Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State», digital services make this process as convenient as possible, allowing citizens to independently build up their insurance record and pension coefficients on par with salaried employees.
Participants choose the amount of their contribution independently. In 2026, the minimum annual contribution is 71,525 rubles – this will allow obtaining one year of insurance record and 1.09 individual pension coefficients (IPC). The maximum contribution is 572,204 rubles. When it is paid, one year of record and 8.72 IPC will be credited to the personal account.
Contributions can be made either monthly or as a one-time payment for the entire year. The main thing is that the funds arrive before December 31. The SFR Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan automatically credits the record and coefficients to the individual personal accounts of self-employed individuals.
An application for voluntary entry into legal relations under compulsory pension insurance can be submitted through the mobile application «My Tax», the «Gosuslugi» portal, or at any client service office of the SFR Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan. The development of these electronic services directly supports the goals of the national project «Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State», making interaction with the fund simple and transparent.
To obtain the right to an old-age insurance pension, it is necessary to reach retirement age (in 2026 – 65 years for men, 60 years for women), have at least 15 years of record and at least 30 individual pension coefficients. If these conditions are not met, the citizen will be assigned a social pension – five years later than the generally established retirement age.
