On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Mayor of the city Nail Magdeev, World War II veteran and home front worker Maria Nikolaevna Ledeneykina received congratulations on her 99th birthday.
The veteran was congratulated by the Head of the Central District Administration Fidaris Khabibullin, Deputy Director of the Management Company "ZHILENERGOSERVIS" Irina Mikhailova, and Chairperson of the TOS "14 complex" Zinaida Garaeva.
Maria Nikolaevna was born in the village of Bogdashkino, Republic of Bashkortostan. During the Great Patriotic War, she worked as a general laborer on her home collective farm. In 1950, Maria Ledeneykina got married and moved to the village of Proley-Kasha, Republic of Bashkortostan, where she worked as a general laborer until her retirement.
In 1983, the veteran moved to Naberezhnye Chelny for permanent residence. Maria Nikolaevna raised 5 children and takes joy in the successes of her 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
