The Executive Committee held the next meeting of the interdepartmental commission on improving the standard of living of the population and legalizing income. Key issues related to violations of current legislation in the sphere of remuneration and evasion of tax obligations were put on the agenda. Meeting participants reviewed facts of payment of wages below the established minimum wage, deviations of employees' average monthly salaries from average industry indicators for the relevant types of economic activity, and also identified cases of substitution of labor relations with civil law contracts with payers of the professional income tax (self-employed).
Following the meeting, it was noted that measures to increase wages and legalize labor relations directly contribute to the implementation of the goals of the national project «Cadres», launched in 2025. Employers were recommended to more actively use the tools of the national project, including programs of free retraining and additional professional education of employees. This will make it possible not only to justify the growth of wages to average industry values through the growth of staff qualifications, but also to satisfy the enterprise's needs for qualified specialists, ensuring sustainable business development within the framework of the federal agenda until 2030.
