Representatives of the Avtozavodsky District administration visited Ninella Ayupovna Zybina, who celebrated her centennial anniversary. The Great Patriotic War veteran, home-front worker and teacher received warm congratulations from the country's and republic's leadership.

The life path of Ninella Zybina is an example of incredible resilience. She was born in Yelabuga into a large repressed family. Despite the hardships of those years, she received an excellent education, graduating from the Yelabuga Teachers' Institute and the history faculty of the Kazan Pedagogical Institute. She devoted her entire life to children, working as a history teacher in the village of Morty.

In 1950 she married a front-line soldier, Alexei Yakovlevich. Together they raised three children. Today the veteran is the happy keeper of the hearth of a large family: she has 6 grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Employees of the Avtozavodsky District administration presented the celebrant with personal congratulatory addresses from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the mayor Nail Magdeev. Ninella Zybina was awarded the medal «For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945» and many jubilee awards.
