The award is aimed at promoting successful practices and developing the institution of mentoring in the Russian Federation, being part of an ecosystem that includes educational initiatives, mentoring programs, support for young specialists and the development of regional personnel centers.
The award is designed to recognize the best professionals: workers, engineers, doctors, teachers and entrepreneurs. The selection of winners will be held in the following categories:
- «Technological Leader»: employees who have introduced innovative technologies, increased production efficiency, developed new products and solutions;
- «Best Mentor»: employees who have made a significant contribution to the professional development of young specialists, passed on experience and knowledge, and contributed to the development of human resources potential;
«Young Specialist»: young employees (aged 18 to 35) who have achieved significant success in their professional activities, demonstrated initiative and a desire for professional growth; - «Family Labor Dynasties»: employees who are representatives of families where at least three generations have become representatives of one profession, or families where the total work experience of all family members in one profession or at one enterprise is at least 50 years;
- «Veterans Council»: head or representative of an organization of honored enterprise workers who have made a great contribution to the preservation of labor traditions and the preservation of accumulated experience;
- «Labor Patriotic Education»: head or representative of an organization with many years of successful experience in labor patriotic education of youth, who have raised citizens for whom love for the Fatherland is manifested not only in words, but also in real deeds: in the desire and need to work for the public good, to treat national wealth with care, and to make a personal contribution to the development of the country.
The National Award «Man of Labor» will be held in three stages. Applications for the regional stage are accepted until 17.07.2026 at chelovek_truda@rambler.ru. The determination of winners of the regional stage will take place in September 2026 as part of the federal stage of the All-Russian competition «Best in Profession» in the category «Radio Electronic Equipment Installer». Each region may have no more than three laureates per category. The award ceremony for the winners of the federal stage will be held in Moscow or the Moscow Region no later than December 15, 2026. The laureates of the award will receive valuable prizes and commemorative insignia.
