A significant portion of social support measures for participants of the Special Military Operation (SVO) is provided in a proactive (non-application) mode. For instance, insurance experience and pension coefficients are accrued automatically based on data received by the Social Fund, and monthly payments to combat veterans are processed without the citizen needing to apply in person.
Special conditions for the formation of pension rights apply to SVO participants. The period of service in the SVO zone is counted towards insurance experience at a double rate — one year of service provides two years of experience. At the same time, increased pension coefficients are accrued: 3.6 coefficients per year of participation instead of the usual 1.8. The time spent participating in the special operation is also taken into account when assigning an early old-age pension for long service.
The Social Fund Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan assigns a monthly cash payment of 4,838 rubles to combat veterans. Heroes of Russia are entitled to 103,693 rubles. Both payments are processed automatically based on interdepartmental interaction data.
SVO participants who have received a military injury are entitled to a monthly cash compensation, the amount of which depends on the disability group. They are also provided with technical rehabilitation equipment according to an individual program. An electronic certificate for the purchase of necessary items is issued without an application — based on data from medical and social expertise institutions.
In addition, demobilized SVO participants can receive medical rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort treatment services in rehabilitation centers subordinate to the Social Fund. To do this, one must have a combat veteran certificate and documents confirming the need for treatment. The Social Fund Branch also compensates for travel expenses to and from the place of treatment.

Most payments are assigned proactively, without applications. It is important that everyone knows their rights and can exercise them», added the manager of the Social Fund Branch for the Republic of Tatarstan Eduard Vafin.
