Business representatives are invited to take part in the annual All-Russian Award "Entrepreneur of the Year" in 2026. The Entrepreneurial Award is a reputable All-Russian event in the field of recognizing and encouraging the merits of entrepreneurs before society and the business environment of the Russian Federation.
The goals of the Award are: promotion of regional brands and products (including beyond the Russian Federation), as well as systematic support for small and medium-sized businesses, large companies, and since 2024 also for the self-employed, by identifying and encouraging the best business practices.

"Being an entrepreneur means proving every day that the impossible is simply a matter of time. I believe that a true entrepreneur is not the one who simply earns money, but the one who creates value where there was none. In 2026, the Award is held in 38 categories. New categories in 2026 are "Unmanned Systems", "Traditional Craft", "SVO Business", "Auto Business", "Creative Industry", "Mass Media", "Development of Domestic Tourism". Traditionally, there are two special categories: "Breakthrough of the Year" - awarded on the proposal of the JURY members, and "Business from the Heart" - a rolling category, the award in the form of a scarlet heart on a marble pedestal, made by an architect on individual order, is annually passed to each new winner and travels to the winner's city. This year it was handed over in Donetsk, Rostov region - to the founder of the children's publishing house Malamalama (LLC "Al Pako") Alexey Zholobov.
Individual entrepreneurs, company owners, and managing directors can participate. In addition, there is a category for self-employed entrepreneurs. All submitted applications are published on the project website http://предпринимательгода.рф/participants.
Participants are evaluated using a multi-factor system that includes six key indices: economic growth, recognition, innovation, sales efficiency, social responsibility and managerial competencies. The award ceremony will take place in May 2027 following the analysis of the annual reports of applicant companies and a detailed assessment of each participant.
