The festive assembly in the assembly hall began with a traditional waltz and a welcoming speech by the guest of honor. Nail Magdeev highly appreciated the graduates' achievements, noting their brilliant results in the Unified State Exam (EGE) – 5 young men and women scored the maximum points, and 23 graduates received medals for special academic achievements.
The Mayor addressed those gathered with parting words: «Today in Naberezhnye Chelny, there is a big and kind family holiday: we are seeing our children off into adulthood. This is a special, exciting, and slightly sad event that many of you have been waiting for for a long time. Childhood is ending; today you are receiving your secondary education certificate and setting off on your journey. You carry with you all the knowledge gained in this school, the guidance of your teachers, and the reliable support of your family.
At all times, knowledge has been and remains the main measure of a person. Knowledge is the foundation upon which the future is built. Our respected teachers have poured the light of their hearts into the souls and minds of the children. A deep bow and words of gratitude to you, teachers! Of course, thank you to the mothers and fathers of the graduates. The union of student, teacher, and parent can move mountains! And the 100 points on the EGE, as well as 99 and 96, are the result of the work of this magnificent trio. You have done everything to ensure that the children successfully passed the first stage of their lives.
To you, guys, I will say that everything is just beginning. With the strong foundation you received at school, you will be able to succeed in this life. Each of you will have your own unique path. The school has become that very "place of power" for you – it gave you a solid foundation for a successful start. Your graduation took place in a jubilee year for us: we are celebrating the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny and the 50th anniversary of the release of the first KAMAZ truck. This is a special, historical stage. Naberezhnye Chelny is school, family, parents, grandparents, and friends. All this is your small homeland, the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.
