Hundreds of residents of Naberezhnye Chelny – colleagues, teachers, students, alumni of different years, education veterans, and everyone whose life was touched by Lidia Vladimirovna Zolotareva – came to the «КАМАЗ» Palace of Culture to bid her farewell. This was a vivid testament to the scale of her personality and the professionalism she possessed. People came in entire groups to pay their final respects to a person who, for many, was not just a leader, but a true mentor and teacher.
Lidia Vladimirovna Zolotareva dedicated nearly 43 years to our city. Arriving in Naberezhnye Chelny in 1983, she rose from a preschool teacher and Russian language teacher to a top-level executive. From 2006 to 2026, she worked continuously in the Executive Committee, making a huge personal contribution to the development and preservation of the best traditions of the city's education system.
At the farewell ceremony, Mayor Nail Magdeev said that the passing of Lidia Vladimirovna was a heavy shock and an irreparable loss for the entire pedagogical community: «A strict but at the same time fair person, she poured her soul and gave her health so that the city would stand firmly on its feet. And the city is people, it is the new generation. This is everything that you, dear colleagues, our entire city pedagogical community, give your lives to without remainder. Being a teacher is a high mission. It is not just a profession, it is a service to people and to your beloved city. I think that each of us will keep the memory of Lidia Vladimirovna Zolotareva with warmth in our hearts. She was our associate, friend, and like-minded person who, together with us, did everything to ensure the city lived, developed, and worked».
Nail Magdeev expressed his deepest condolences to her husband Nikolai Gennadyevich, daughter Ksenia Nikolaevna, granddaughter Valeria Evgenyevna, and all her loved ones.
Lidia Vladimirovna's many years of work have been highly appreciated at the state level. She was awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Teacher of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "Honorary Worker of General Education of the Russian Federation," and was awarded certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the badge of distinction "For Services to the City of Naberezhnye Chelny."
Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Minzaliya Zakirova, on behalf of the department, expressed condolences to her relatives, loved ones, family, and the pedagogical community: «We are a single family of the education system of the Republic of Tatarstan. Lidia Vladimirovna was a leader of a high professional level and an extraordinary, brave fighter of our team. We will remember her this way – smart, a reliable colleague».
For her colleagues, Lidia Vladimirovna will forever remain an example of intelligence, warmth of soul, and selfless devotion to her work. Her bright memory will be preserved in the hearts of all who knew and worked with her.
Lidia Zolotareva will be buried at a cemetery in Naberezhnye Chelny.
