Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Irek Fayzullin has arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny on a working visit. The head of the federal agency was accompanied on the trip by the Head of the Executive Committee Farid Salakhov.
The first point on the high-level commission's route was the area of the "Prityazhenie" residential complex on Moskovsky Prospect. Irek Fayzullin personally inspected the site where a new major city-wide street is being created. The project provides for the development of the transport network as a continuation of Moskovsky Prospect to Khadi Taktash Street. A new bridge crossing over the Chelna River will be a key engineering structure here.
"Special attention was drawn to the residential facilities of the "Talan" company, the construction of which began back in 2017. Today, a beautiful microdistrict has grown in this area. Within the framework of federal programs, a road has appeared, which has become a duplicate of the first road and provided convenient transport accessibility. A barrier-free environment has also been arranged, parking lots have been moved outside the courtyards, and the courtyards themselves have been landscaped," noted Irek Fayzullin.
Special attention during the visit was paid to issues of housing and communal services. The Minister moved to the Gabdulla Tukay embankment (6 Tsentralnaya St.) to assess the state of critical infrastructure. Irek Fayzullin familiarized himself with the state of the domestic drinking water supply networks. We are talking about a large-scale siphon (a special section of the pipeline laid under an obstacle) with 4 lines, which provides water supply from the water supply chamber at Elevatornaya Gora to the chambers in the GES settlement.
"We checked the progress of the modernization of communal infrastructure – the program is being implemented successfully. Roads are also being repaired," emphasized the head of the Russian Ministry of Construction.
The first half of the working visit ended with a visit to cultural facilities. Irek Fayzullin and Farid Salakhov inspected the Naberezhnye Chelny State Tatar Drama Theater named after Ayaz Gilyazov on Nizametdinov Street.
"Theaters are the cultural heart of any city, and Naberezhnye Chelny is no exception. Our task is to preserve this wealth for future generations and create the best conditions for both creative teams and spectators," stated Irek Fayzullin.
The final point of the visit was the Russian Drama Theater "Masterovye". Here, the head of the Russian Ministry of Construction not only familiarized himself with the state of the institution but also took part in the III All-Russian Rally of Student Detachment Veterans. Addressing the participants of the rally gathered in the auditorium, Irek Fayzullin noted the importance of the movement and the role of the theater as a venue for such significant events.
"I was lucky that all stages of my student life were connected with a construction detachment. The first year we worked in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, in the "Kamdorstroy" construction trust. Having gone from a foreman to a commander of a construction detachment, then a master and commander of a zonal construction detachment, I realized: this is exactly the school of life that allows you to become a qualified manager and specialist. Today, the student construction movement in Russia is already 67 years old. In total, it has 400,000 people, and more than 40 of them are involved in construction detachments. I would like to wish the 400-year-old city of Naberezhnye Chelny and КАМАЗ, which released its first products 50 years ago, further prosperity. After all, it was here that the shock Komsomol construction project was formed, which brought together up to 5,000 students from different cities of our great country. I remember myself how we took part in the competition of agitation brigades at the Palace of Culture "Energetikov"," Irek Fayzullin addressed the veterans of the movement.
The working trip of the head of the Russian Ministry of Construction emphasizes the high federal interest in the comprehensive development of Naberezhnye Chelny. The development of the city's transport and communal infrastructure is being carried out within the framework of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project. Based on the results of the inspection of infrastructure and cultural facilities, a list of instructions will be formed, and the discussion of further steps for financing the planned projects will continue at specialized meetings.
