Ceremonial events in honor of Navy Day were held at the military base.
Participants visited the church named after Fyodor Ushakov, which was built in record time by the people of Tatarstan: the shipbuilding corporation «Ak Bars». Rear Admiral Viktor Kochemazov conveyed words of gratitude through the mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev.
Then, in the hall, the military commander thanked the mayor for his support: 65 air conditioners from Naberezhnye Chelny were handed over to the Novorossiysk military base, as well as the necessary equipment for more effective service.
The air conditioners were installed in the headquarters, the church, and in the accommodation areas for personnel.

Previously, we very often visited the Republic of Tatarstan by invitation: they always wait for us, are glad to see us, there is always support and a reliable foundation.
Last year, Nail Gambarovich, while here with us, understanding how uncomfortable it is for us to be in this hall – hot, sultry – this year gave us 65 air conditioners, four of which are installed in this hall and create a comfortable environment. They are also installed in the church where we held the service, and the church was also gifted to us by the republic: the shipbuilding corporation «Ak Bars», – noted Rear Admiral Viktor Kochemazov.
