Recipients of social services from the day-care department of the Dovеriye (Trust) Center visited a bowling center. The event was organized within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children” for effective social adaptation – a trip to the sports and entertainment facility became a practical stage of social rehabilitation. Bowling serves as an effective tool for developing concentration, self-control and gross motor skills, while interaction within the group contributed to the formation of communication skills and mutual support.
Regular visits to public venues reduce the level of social isolation – the participants gained a positive emotional experience, which directly contributes to strengthening their health and mental well-being. The sports and leisure format of interaction has proven its effectiveness: regardless of the final results, each client improved their self-esteem and reinforced the skills of successful social integration.
