At a joint meeting of the standing committees of the City Council, deputies reviewed key financial issues of the municipality. Representatives of the Executive Committee and relevant departments took part in the work.
Head of the Finance Department Svetlana Mulyukova presented a draft of amendments to the city budget for 2026. The committees also considered replacing the grant for equalizing budget provision with an additional deduction standard from the personal income tax for the period of 2027-2029. Svetlana Mulyukova concluded her speech with a proposal to hold public hearings on the draft budget for 2027 and the planning period of 2028-2029: «In accordance with the Federal Law, the draft local budget must be submitted for open discussion. Public hearings are proposed to be held on November 10, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in room 400 of the Executive Committee building».
Following the joint meeting, all reviewed draft decisions were recommended for submission to the next meeting of the City Council.
