The implementation of the program "Summer in Tatarstan", which unites cultural, sports, youth and family projects, continues in Naberezhnye Chelny. The campaign started on May 24 with a concert by the dance theater "Bulgars" on Azatlyk Square. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Executive Committee Viner Kharisov.
Thus, on May 30, the city festival of folk art culture "Ethno-party" was held on the embankment named after Fikryat Tabeev. Craftsmen from different cities of Tatarstan took part in it. A market of young people and themed master classes worked for the guests.
On June 1, on Children's Day, the active part of the "Summer in Tatarstan" program began. Festive events took place at several city venues. In the culture park of the GES settlement, the concert "Holiday of mischievous ideas" was held, near the "Energetik" Palace of Culture — a drawing contest on asphalt, in Victory Park — a kite festival with master classes, performances of dance groups and an entertainment program.
On Azatlyk Square, the ensemble of soloists of the Organ Hall presented a program with music from cartoons. In the "Thrice-Ninth Kingdom" square, young musicians of Children's Music School No. 2 performed. Youth clubs organized themed programs "Planet of Childhood", "Friendly Rhythm of Summer" and "World of Childhood" with quests, game stations, concerts and creative master classes.
The sports program included competitions in yard football, streetball, volleyball, athletics, taekwondo, motocross and GTO standards.
On June 6, in the "Pribrezhny" park, the republican athletics cross-country race in memory of the Honored Coach of the RSFSR Minulla Nizametdinovich Chinkin took place. Athletes from Naberezhnye Chelny, Zainsk, Yelabuga and Nizhnekamsk took part in the competitions. Young participants and sports veterans started. The winners and prize-winners were awarded cups, medals and valuable prizes.
On June 7, the games of the League of the Republic of Tatarstan in streetball were held in the "Grenada" park. 60 teams took part in the tournament.
On June 10, an acoustic house concert "All Ours" was held on the square of the youth center "Nur". On June 11, on the embankment named after Fikryat Tabeev, the program "Here is the Beginning of My Motherland" took place, which included the action "Flag of Russia — Our Pride", the distribution of tricolor ribbons, the interactive platform "Dove of Peace" and the creation of a map of the regions of Russia.
On June 12, on Russia Day, the concert "Russia Is Us" was held in Victory Park with the participation of 1,500 teenagers, young people and city residents. The volunteer corps "Volunteers 400" and activists of "Volunteers of Victory" unfurled the flag of Russia. Activists of the Movement of the First and the City Student Council distributed 700 tricolor ribbons to residents and guests of the city.
On June 20–21, the festival of urban and youth culture "YarFest" was held on the Tabeev embankment, organized by the Guild of Creative Industries "White City". The program included lectures, master classes, film screenings, yoga and fitness classes, graffiti, phygital basketball, dances, as well as performances by DJs and vocalists. The festival united thousands of participants.
On June 22, on the Tukay embankment, as part of the Spartakiad, a beach volleyball tournament was held among working youth of enterprises and organizations of the city. More than 100 people took part in the competitions. In the women's tournament, the team of JSC "Remdizel" won, the second place was taken by the "Gazprom" team, the third — by the "Children's Home" team. In the men's tournament, the first place was taken by the "CHELNYVODOKANAL" team, the second — by "Remdizel", the third — by "TD VIRVIND".
From June 22 to 24, yard football competitions for the cups of the heads of administrations of the Central, Avtozavodsky and Komsomolsky districts were held. Students of grades 7–8 took part in them. The winners were congratulated by the mayor of the city Nail Magdeev.
During the same period, a concert of the pop-jazz orchestra of the Naberezhnye Chelny Philharmonic under the direction of Bronislav Semichov took place on Azatlyk Square. The program featured rock compositions and instrumental improvisations.On July 3, Youth Day was celebrated in Naberezhnye Chelny, dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the city and the 50th anniversary of KAMAZ. Festive events took place on the territory from Chulman Avenue to the maidan of the "Pribrezhny" park. More than 20 interactive platforms worked for residents.
On July 5, on the embankment named after Fikryat Tabeev, a concert of the Chamber Orchestra of Igor Lerman took place within the framework of the grant project "Sounds of Summer over the Kama". The program featured works of classical music. The special guest was violinist Luka Moromov.
The Day of Family, Love and Fidelity was celebrated with festive concerts and events for families. The programs took place on the Shishkin, Enthusiasts and Young Leninists boulevards, as well as near the Borovetskaya Church. Interactive platforms, master classes and photo zones worked in parks and squares. Libraries organized literary hours and actions, museums — themed excursions, and a concert of piano and organ music was held in the Organ Hall. In total, more than 11 thousand city residents took part in the events.
On July 13, the Tabeev embankment became the venue for the water lantern festival. A space-themed program was organized for the guests, the main object of which was a four-meter glowing Moon on the water.
On July 17, 2026, within the framework of the Unified Day of Folklore, creative groups of the city performed in the park of the GES settlement, Victory Park and on Azatlyk Square. The audience was presented with folk songs, dances, rituals and games of the peoples of Russia.
In August, a two-day gastronomic festival will take place. Its program includes master classes by chefs, tastings of national dishes and events dedicated to modern gastronomic trends. The traditional Kama half-marathon, timed to the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny and the 50th anniversary of KAMAZ, will also take place.
Within the framework of the project "KURSHE.MIRAS", Dmitry Kolesnikov will hold the photo exhibition "Chally Foto Miras. Heritage of Chelny".
The culmination of the summer program will be the celebrations dedicated to the 400th anniversary of Naberezhnye Chelny and the 50th anniversary of KAMAZ. Veterans will take part in the events, and a large-scale open-air concert is also planned.
