The main tasks of the sector are the coordination and regulation of road management issues on the territory of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

The main areas of activity of the sector are:

• organizing the maintenance and repair of city roads and bridges;
• ensuring the preservation of local roads;
• implementing measures aimed at determining the amount of damage caused by vehicles carrying heavy loads when traveling on public local roads;
• developing the main directions of investment policy in the field of development of local roads;
• information support for users of public local roads.

Over the previous 5 years, from 2020 to 2024, central avenues and streets have been repaired, such as: Zalesny, Avtosborochny proezd, Proizvodstvenny proezd, Druzhby Narodov, Mashinostroitelnaya, Raskolnikova, Starosarmanovskaya, Shamilya Usmanova, Gosteva streets, with the construction of a bridge crossing, etc. The long-awaited construction of a road section continuing Moskovsky Avenue to the roundabout in the area of the SNT «Yubileiny», Yashlek Avenue on the section from Mira Avenue to Mashinostroitelnaya Street and the bridge across the Shilna River, and Avtozavodsky Avenue (on the section from Syuyumbike Avenue to Mira Avenue) has been completed.

The total amount of allocated funds over these 5 years amounts to 9 billion 760 million rubles, which, in addition to bringing the roads to a standard condition, made it possible to resolve 4596 requests in the People's Control system.
