The playwright and sensitive psychologist Ayaz Gilyazov this time is a step ahead of his time. The play is permeated with irony, humor and grotesque.
The deer embodies nobility, beauty and pride, while among the common people it very often has a rich symbolic meaning. The characters of the play are either stubborn and cannot let go of the past, or treat life without understanding: carelessly «jump» and «gallop» through meadows and fields, placing responsibility on others. Only a few are ready to accept, understand, forgive another person, and most importantly – themselves.
Two women, completely different in social, material status and moral qualities, are united by one thing – grief. What people are ready to do for their own benefit, how they will overcome their inner fears, will be told by the play «The Deer».
