Executive Committee

The Executive Committee of the municipal formation of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny is the local administration (the executive and administrative body of the municipal formation).

The Executive Committee is vested with powers to resolve issues of local importance and powers to exercise certain state powers transferred to local self-government bodies by federal laws and laws of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Executive Committee carries out its activities in accordance with the legislative and regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, this Charter, and other municipal regulatory legal acts.

The Executive Committee consists of:

1) territorial bodies – district administrations, which are structural divisions of the Executive Committee:

- Administration of the Avtozavodsky District of the Executive Committee;

- Administration of the Central District of the Executive Committee;

- Administration of the Komsomolsky District of the Executive Committee.

The territorial body of the Executive Committee is headed by the Head of the district administration of the Executive Committee;

2) sectoral (functional) bodies of the Executive Committee, vested in the established procedure with the status of a legal entity;

3) sectoral (functional) bodies of the Executive Committee, not vested in the established procedure with the status of a legal entity.
