The Sara Sadykova Concert Hall was opened in 1988. Its area is nearly 2,000 square meters, with 766 seats. No major repairs have been carried out since its foundation — for 37 years.
At the beginning of 2026, the hall was closed for major repairs: curtains have been removed, furniture has been dismantled, and interior demolition has begun. The original project will be refined according to the wishes of the institution's director.
298.5 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget for the renovation of the concert hall. The customer is the State Budgetary Institution "Glavstroy of the Republic of Tatarstan."
Mayor Nail Magdeev emphasized the importance of the facility: "This is the main concert venue in our city. There is no need to delay the renovation. We need to ensure that the facility is operational by the beginning of the tour season, by the beginning of autumn."
Completion of all work and the opening of the renovated hall are scheduled for December 2026.
