In 2026, Russia will celebrate the Year of Unity of Peoples. This event is intended to deepen the understanding of the traditions, customs, culture, and history of the peoples of the Volga region, highlighting the cultural diversity of the country.
The Volga region is a unique territory where the cultures, traditions, and histories of many peoples have intertwined over the centuries. As part of the event, participants will be able to learn about the historical and cultural aspects of the Volga peoples. A quiz entitled "Peoples and Symbols" and language practice are also planned, during which everyone will be able to learn 5-7 useful phrases in the languages of the peoples of this region, such as greetings, expressions of gratitude, and compliments.
